Amazing Jakes FHE

Well every so often we take the kids to Amazing Jakes. They as you can guess abosolutely love it. This time we went because John did great on his reports card and it was Family Home Evening. I know it is not the most spiritual thing ever but hey we can only take so many Family Home Evening breakdowns per months. With three young boys time we have to get our message accross is very limited and often we have a break down before we get through the entire evening. We keep trying though. Well anyways we had a great time until Kate pooped all over dad so we had to take off. Way to take one for the team dad.

Matthew had a great time playing minature golf. He would put the ball about 4 inches from the hole and hit it in. He thought that was heavenly (oh and you thought he didn't learn anything for FHE that night).

Mark had a great time playing John in air hockey.

John had fun getting riding the teapots since I never let him at Disneyland.

Fishing with the boys

For Christmas all the boys somehow got a fishing pole from Santa. None of them have ever caught a fish before but they always talk about getting fishing poles and going fishing and Santa knew that so he got them a pole.

When we got back from St. Johns and Snowflake I took them all fishing. It was a fun experience. The boys could have stayed there for hours (I wish I was that patient). Thank goodness I finally talked them into leaving because they didn't have hooks on the end of there poles.

John and Mark had a play fish that went with their poles. Johns was Pirates of the Caribbean and Matthews was Diego. Marks was Disney Cars so he had a rubber tire on his. It was fun to watch them anticipate a catch. It also didn't help that I kept asking if they had a nibble.

After that we went and rode the train at Freestone Park. They have a little train that goes around the park. It was the last ride of the day and we got some popcorn and a drink to enjoy as we rode. We had a great time. We took them back this week and had a picnic but forgot the camera.

Boys and their cars

Mark and Matthew both enjoy cars. One day Mark decided to line up all his cars and Matthew joined the action. We thought it was so cute we had to take a picture.

Matthew Halloween

After we went trick-or-treating for halloween we were looking every where for Matthew. Well we finally found him with his candy on his bed and enjoying all of it. He is our best candy eater (if there is such a thing).

First Blog

Well it is time to start blogging (I guess). I don't have too much to say right now other than the boys are very excited about our fathers and sons outing tomorrow. Our original outing was canceled back in May and we have rescheduled for September. I asked Mark if he was excited today and he said, "do we get to camp in our backyard again". That is because when we cancelled it in May we still had a mini fathers and sons in the backyard. He thought we were going to do that again. When I told him we were going up into the pines he about jumped out of his seat with excitement. I will try to catch up on a few things that our family has done in the past couple months but for now LATER.
